About Me

Uri Kleiman - was born in august 6th 1982 in Krasnoyarsk, Russia.
As he was born to a musician's family, since the first day - it was all about
making art.
For 18 years Uri was dedicated to music. Won prizes at competitions,
played at various ensembles, flew around the world performing...

While all that happening, he always had a great passion for photography.
At the age of 14 he received his first camera, as a birthday present - and he
never stopped shooting since.

As a creative person, Uri always strived to make his photos expressive
emotional and full of meaning.

Because his photos always made huge impressions on everybody while he
greatly enjoyed making them, Uri decided to transform to a professional
photographer.

For the last 2 years he dedicated his time to exploring the mechanics of the
camera, the use of light and the creation of a perfect composition.

Today Uri is a photographer of special events at "Layla" - the biggest in
Israel Culture and Nightlife magazine - as well as a freelancer photographer
for various events, as you can see at the "Latest Events" section.
